Green Sea Turtles spend most of their lives swimming in the oceans, so we rarely get to see them. When they come on shore to lay eggs in the dark of night, you may get to see one. The mothers leave tracks in the sand, allowing turtle guardians to identify nest sites and protect them from vehicles, raccoons, and people.
